Jeffery has been after me to make tank tops for him for months! I decided a prototype or two, would be a good thing to do. The first was not quite right. I think the second one,( the gray one,) is going to be closer to what he wants. I threw in a pair of boxers, just because!

Infinity scarves

I have many scarves, but I never wear them. They hang in the closet on a hanger. Well, I was thinking, if I transformed them into “Infinity” scarves, maybe I would wear them. I tried it on one, and liked it so much, I did the same to two more! I also used a piece of knit, to make one fresh for my daughter. She is as pleased with the result, as I am.

A flannel hoody for Isabella.

The pj’s were such a hit, Tina asked me to make a hoody of flannel, with the same characters, but different print. I had already customized a pattern for the jammies, so I only had to create a hood. Not hard to do. I had it completed pretty quickly, even with taking out some seams. So, I am pleased with the time frame, and the result. I think Isabella will be doing a “dance of joy”. I hope so!
Kids clothes are fun to make, and look so cute!

A fleece robe for Tina’s husband.

Tina purchased a couple of yards of licensed fleece over a year ago, with the hopes of making a robe for her husband. Well, that didn’t happen. Lucky for me, she contacted me via my sewing ad on Craigslist, asking for help with the project. I accepted, gladly. Two yards wasn’t quite enough to make a robe. I advised Tina to purchase a couple more yards of a contrasting fleece to make up the difference.

Four and a half yards of fleece, and a week later, whalah!!! A robe has been born. I think it looks nice. I hope Bob likes it!
