It has been a while since I have made something for myself. The bag I have been using does not stay on my shoulder and makes me a little nuts. I wanted a “Crossbody” bag. So, I started digging through my denim and decided to go with black denim this time. I used a pattern! I never do this. I usually improvise, but I wanted to try this one. I did do some improvising, but the size and shape are the pattern.

Two zippers, lots of extra pockets and a place for my keys.

Julie has been very helpful assisting a family member with day-to-day errands and household chores. I felt she needed a little something extra for all her efforts. I wanted to make a tote especially for her using denim. I used pockets for the starting point and went from there. It worked out great! I am very pleased, and so is Julie.  : )

I hope she likes it.

A new tote for Paul.

I was told recently that a tote bag I made for my nephew a while back has been stolen! OMG! I was annoyed and flattered. Annoyed about it being stolen. Flattered that someone found it nice enough to steal. Go figure.
