I recently made a baby blanket, which was a “quilt” of sorts. I am not a quilter, but I have been playing with the process. I decided to give it another shot. I tore a
ll the pieces, machine stitched them, and hand stitched the border. I used batting this time. I tied the corners with embroidery floss. I didn’t want to hand quilt the whole blanket. More hand sewing than I like to do. I realized that batting hides a lot of imperfections. I like that. Still a learning process. I don’t know if this will be a regular thing for me, but it has been interesting.
Look, I did it again!
