Kay purchased some really cute polka dot fabric online. She wanted 2 throw pillows made. During our conversation, she asked for a tote  from what ever fabric was left over after the pillows. I told her no problem. I am your girl!  She supplied me with everything I needed except for thread. I have tons!

Quilt repair.

Quilting isn’t my thing. However, I have a quilt my mother gave me years ago, and it has been showing some signs of wear. I decided to repair it. The border is pretty tattered and I found the perfect sheet to use to repair/ cover it. I didn’t want to take it apart, too much work. : /    I preserved the initials of my mother that was stitched on the corner  of the quilt and I added mine.  I am not doing any additional  detailed hand stitching. Don’t have the patients. I did however, do a lot of hand stitching of the new border to the back of the quilt. I think it looks pretty good. 014002012011
