Seam 2 Rip

I have made hats for little ladies, but not one for grown up ladies.  I decided to give it a try, and see if they are something I want to do more often. They are a little tricky, and of course I don’t follow the instructions. I like to put my own spin on them, and make them reversible.  Two hats in one. Double duty!

Initially, I wasn’t thrilled with this, but now that I have stepped back, and taken photos, I like it.  I don’t like it on me, but someone might like it. It was an experiment.

Andrea found a sheet in a second hand store she would like to have made into a duvet cover. A smaller, lap sized.   As luck would have it, the sheet is the perfect size folded in half. I used the original border, and some of the excess fabric to make ties for the bottom.
