A skirt for Helen.

Helen likes to folk dance. She wanted a skirt that would flow, and twirl nicely while on the dance floor. I have just the ticket! My roomy picked out a fabulous print, and solid that compliment  each other. As luck would have it, I was able to cut the fabric. (lucky guy!)

I thought a bag to match the skirt would be an added bonus, so I improvised a design, and went for it.  Both items turned out quite nice. This is my first invisible zipper that wasn’t practice on scrap fabric.  It  looks good. I do need more practice. Zippers and I are still not very good friends. I am working on it.

Helen was tickled pink with her skirt, and bag. She did a little dance in my kitchen after she tried it on. Fits like a glove! I am pleased.
